Neil Schimmel - President: Neil has 30 years of experience in Investment Real Estate specializing in the acquisition, redevelopment, and disposition of value add opportunities.  Licensed in real estate in 1979, Neil has been responsible for several billions in redevelopment apartment opportunities throughout the United States. 

 

Redevelopment has included:

 

  • Modernization of apartment communities with interior and exterior renovations and common area upgrades. 

 

  • Creating and effective implementation of revenue generating programs. 

 

A successful real estate strategy always evolves and changes with the market. Neil's career path has been at the forefront of these relentless changing environments.  From 1982 till 1986, Neil received his CPA from Kenneth Leventhal.  His responsibilities were the re-organizations and work-outs of portfolios and individual failed loans, exceeding several billions of dollars. 

 

From 1986 till the founding of IMG in 1993, Neil was a partner in Capitol Properties which specialized in the acquisition, redevelopment, operation and brokerage of apartment communities in Southern California and Seattle.  Neil headed up a high transaction volume of acquisitions, management of day to day operations & renovations, syndication of the investments and disposal of the properties. 

 

Since founding IMG in 1993, Neil has been the owner, lender, manager, sponsor and/or advisor to multiple successful Investment Partnerships.  IMG is responsible for the acquisition, redevelopment and disposition of several billion in multifamily transaction volume over the past eleven years.  These transactions were conducted with most of the major national players in Multifamily.  Neil has resolved billions of dollars worth of loan modifications and work-outs in this current cycle alone.  Over the past twenty five years Neil has amassed a deep experience in distressed real-estate, and is well known through out the industry. 


Greg Beach - CFO/Controller : Greg's successful twenty years in the real estate industry includes extensive experience in the renovation and repositioning of assets. He has successfully managed commercial and multifamily portfolios with Anchor Pacifica, Casden Properties, American Realty Advisors and Stratus Real Estate. He earned his Bachelors of Science degree from California State University, Northridge.


Adrienne Switzer - Sr. Asset Manager : Adrienne Switzer has 20 yrs experience within the multifamily industry. Her extensive knowledge and expertise include all aspects of asset management, property management, acquisitions, dispositions, and construction management on a national level. Her sole asset management portfolio has varied in size ranging from 1000 units to 11,000 units. Her prior Regional Supervisor position, with Stratus Real Estate, Inc., included overseeing the day-to-day operations of multifamily portfolios for several large institutional clients. Adrienne's diligent efforts resulted in a proven track record, successful achievement of benchmark goals and increased NOIs. She holds a California Real Estate license, as well as a degree from Phoenix College.

 

Andrew Levin, - Analyst : Andrew Levin has been working with IMG since February 2006.  He built a very successful career in technology sales before returning to multifamily real estate.  His experience in serving clients in the construction, architecture, property development and network security fields have given IMG valuable insight with their relationship and information management.  Andrew has become an integral member of the Acquisition, Property Redevelopment and Disposition process.  He holds numerous computer technology certifications as well as a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
